These upcycled frames are made with potentially discarded timber that has already served at least one purpose in the building industry. Only Australian timber is used to create these frames such as Victorian Ash and Tasmanian Oak.

Each frame has been made with outstanding quality and craftsmanship- a builder by trade with the motto: Recycled, Reclaimed, Reborn began upcycling frames then turned it into a small family run business.

Cast acrylic to display and protect your chosen piece has been selected by Upcycle Studio for a few reasons:

• Strength- We sell our frames as forever pieces. Mulbury frames are beautifully made with an acrylic display sheet. Acrylic has more chance of standing the test of time in comparison to glass. Replacing broken glass leads to excess production. This is largely due to "Wish Cycling". Many assume broken frame glass can be recycled through kerb-side pickup. This can result in an entire truckload of recyclable items ending up in landfill classed as contaminated.
• Lightweight- This helps keep shipping costs down, and equally as important, helps keep your frame on the wall and not damaged on the floor!
• Quality- The acrylic you will receive has been responsibly sourced and made and is of the highest standard. You will see the true colours of your framed piece (glass often throws a green tint). There is 95% UV protection and less glare compared to standard glass.
